He can do it all; song writing and arrangement, sound design, sonic theory, mixing and mastering, insight into the industry. Morgan teaches production to all levels and will customise your Lab Six experience.

DREW MAYHILLS - MUSIC PRODUCTION

As an Ableton Certified Instructor, Drew teaches all levels and genres. His instrumental background playing in bands and using Live and Push to compose, creates his unique brand of electronic music which is designed for live performance.

PAULO PADERNILLA [MIDSOLE] - DJ

With over 10 years of experience and a ranked 6th in the world’s DMC Scratch Championships, Paulo is our head DJ instructor at Lab Six. He teaches all levels and DJ courses at Lab Six and specialises in, you guessed it, scratching. All genres and all levels.

TINA SAYS - MUSIC PRODUCTION

Perth’s Queen of bass, Tina Says will ignite everything house within you. With a comprehensive catalogue of performance up her sleeve, including Triple J’s Friday Mix and touring alongside the likes of Fisher, Tina will show you the key to producing music that makes people move.

BOSTON SWITCH - DJ

Passionate and always performing, Blake McDonald has held residencies as far away as The Greek Islands. His experience in festival performance and crowd-pleasing tune selection is undeniable. Blake teaches all genres, levels and DJ courses.

SHOCKONE - MUSIC PRODUCTION

International DnB and EDM icon Karl Thomas has been releasing music on his Shockone project for more than a decade. He teaches for all levels in production, including beginners and specialises in sonic theory and sound design. All genres and all levels.

EL HORNET [PENDULUM] - DJ

Learn from one of the greats. Paul Harding is well-known within the dance music industry as both highly skilled DJ and a taste maker. His experience moves beyond Drum and Bass; he played regular House, Techno, Tech House, Breaks and Hardcore sets around the world. All genres and levels welcome.

MIZHAP - DJ

With over 8 years of experience as an open-format DJ; Mizhap’s unique and rhythmic mixing style, high-powered showmanship, and unwavering passion for the art and the culture of DJing has led her to become one of the most sought-after names in Perth. 

With feature mixes on Triple J for “The Kick-On”, performances backstage for artists at Groovin’ the Moo including HipHop royalty Coolio and Spindarella, and holding down multiple DJ residencies (including Henry Summer Bar, Northbridge Brewing Company, and The Camfield), Jess “Mizhap” Coyle brings an extensive knowledge of skill and performance to her teaching role at Lab Six, with insight into both the business and the bangers-side of DJing.

Mizhap’s world class turntablism skills have allowed her to place in the Australian DMCs, make the Top 10 in the Australian Online DMCs and also compete in the DMC World Beat Juggling Championships.

Specialising in multi-genre mixing & turntablism with a devotion to HipHop, Rap, RnB, Funk, Breaks, Grime, 160, Trap, Afro, Jungle, DnB, Garage, House & Club sounds, Mizhap is unmistakable in the booth and a force of nature in the mix.
